Stephen Zywko, president of Compleat Restorations, is the professional that you call on one of the worst days of your life. He knows this about his work. And yet — he has never been afraid of a challenge.

Zywko has extensive experience in the trades, which he brought to his work at Compleat Restorations when he started with the company six years ago. In January 2023, he and two business partners purchased the locally-owned, 45-year-old company.

When a home or commercial property is damaged or struck by disaster — primarily from fire or water, though not always — Zywko and his team step in to clean up and restore the space. Zywko brings an incredibly specialized skill-set to this position. However, he also sees himself as somewhat of a counselor, knowing that his clients need him to serve as a comfort and steady hand, as much as they do an expert who can restore their space and belongings. He is passionate about the ‘before and after’ and is energized by his ability to help clients through their personal emergencies.

Though he is originally from Bucks County, Zywko and his wife, Alicia (a successful sales director), intend to make Lancaster County their home for the long-term. The pair are passionate about community projects and local causes, especially helping vulnerable populations like children & seniors. The Zywkos enjoy taking their dogs — Kenzie and Kai — on hikes exploring Lancaster County’s many trails. They also have a reputation for engaging in some spirited competition on the golf course every summer.
