Rebecca Addington, Owner & Interior Designer at Ville & Rue

While Rebecca Addington, owner and interior designer at Ville & Rue, is often inspired by travel, she believes that home is the destination. That’s what she seeks to help her clients create — an oasis away from the world, a space utterly their own, a place to live and to love.

Ville & Rue is a Lancaster City-based home furnishings, decor, and gift shop that also offers design services. As owner and lead designer, Addington focuses on blending a variety of styles — from old world to modern — in order to curate a well-balanced space for every individual client. Knowing that most of her clients do not have one specific, signature style, she loves to find ways to tie their unique aesthetics and practical requirements together in a seamless, chic manner. While she loves to stay at the forefront of home and design trends, she always maintains a foundation of high quality and time-honored design at the foundation of her work.

Addington is dedicated to serving her community. Originally from Southern York, she fell in love with Lancaster at a young age. After earning a B.A. in communications from Susquehanna University, as well as an AST in interior design, Addington explored a number of professional opportunities, including a position managing design services for Pottery Barn in the Lehigh Valley. Now, she makes it a point to feature a number of local makers and artisans in Ville & Rue.
