Lisa Hilburn has always been passionate about fashion — and has a true talent for helping fashion-phobic men discover their personal style and build a confidence-boosting wardrobe.

Early in life, Torba was known for helping friends and family with their wardrobe. Following a career in the insurance industry (during which she owned her own agency) and later pharmaceuticals, she decided to pursue her true passion. After training under two highly regarded image consultants—one in San Francisco and the other in Minneapolis—she began her career as an image consultant, working with women only.

However, while working with her female clients, Torba was often asked to help their husbands, friends, and significant others with their style. Realizing there was an unmet need for stylish menswear, she went looking for opportunities in the field — and began her work with J.Hilburn in 2016. Since starting with J.Hilburn, she has become a top ten seller for the company, crossing $2 million in menswear sales as of December 2023.

Torba believes that better fitting clothing results in a better first impression. She is proud to help her clients recognize their personal style, acting as someone they can depend on to create a seamless, reliable, and fully custom wardrobe, designed specially to fit their unique life and body.
