Ian Hey, Realtor

For Ian Hey—realtor, listing specialist, buyer’s agent representative, and real estate consultant—trust is the cornerstone of every interaction. Aware that he is helping clients with one of the largest and most significant purchases of their lifetime, Hey is fiercely dedicated to his personal principles of transparency, authenticity, relentless preparation, and execution.

Knowing how much time and energy his clients have poured into their house — as well as the bittersweet feeling of selling their home — Hey prides himself on bringing a fresh and extensive marketing strategy to each and every sale. As no two homes are alike, Hey seeks to truly understand and highlight what makes his clients’ home unique. Hey finds working with buyers to be exceptionally rewarding because it allows him the opportunity to educate his clients on every detail, from the type of foundation to the comparative property values within a certain radius. He believes that educating a buyer before any purchase is vital to protecting their investment. Hey is a skilled negotiator and a strong advocate for his clients. Not afraid to be a bulldog if he needs to be, his core belief is that everyone deserves to feel like someone has their back when dealing in real estate.

Hey grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and studied Secondary Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Although he is not a native of Lancaster County, he has wholeheartedly embraced Lancaster as his home, and feels that Lancaster has embraced him, as well. He resides in East Hempfield with his partner Kelsey, their daughter Joelle, their Bullmastiff, Yam, and—last but not least—their Bulldog, Tommy. They enjoy Friday or Saturday night trips to the Belmont to goof off, and Sundays are typically spent hanging with the boys—Yam and Tommy—watching football.
