The Twelve Supports: A Celebration of the Evolution of Black Music

As a collective, the members of The Twelve are patrons of the arts here in Lancaster. They believe that being a part of a community means actively engaging with and supporting that community. And as a core tenet of their membership, every member has committed to championing causes that matters to them.

With these goals in mind, they have officially announced their first sponsorship in our local arts community, as a collective: In celebration of Black History Month, the Ephrata Performing Arts Center (EPAC) is proudly partnering with THEM the Collective for a special two-night event, A Celebration of the Evolution of Black Music!

“We started this show with a simple yet profound intention: to celebrate our music during Black History Month,” shared Jeannette Wehye, co-founder and co-producer of THEM the Collective. “Our music has contributed to and influenced every aspect of the music we know and love today! We’re passionate about what we do and we love to share it.”

Wehye continued, “We will perform songs to embark on a musical journey that celebrates our heritage, inspires unity, and uplifts the spirit. It’s our hope that with all that we do, we help to heal and encourage musically.”

Join The Twelve at this impactful event – coming up on Friday, February 9 and Friday, February 10, 2024. Tickets are on sale now for $25 each.
